The Biltmore Estate was a great place to visit. From entering the gate it took me almost 15 minutes just to drive to the visitor parking lot. I suggest getting there early in the morning, that way you will have plenty of time to tour the grounds. With 8,000 acres there is plenty to explore. The main attraction is the Biltmore Castle, which for many years was the largest private home in the United States. The property also has an equestrian center, award winning winery and hotel.
The men and women who work with Biltmore Estate are some of the most talented and experienced in their fields—from our French winemaker to our curators, landscape historian, and opera-singing host. Together they can provide a wealth of information and resources on art, architecture, agriculture, horticulture, winemaking, furniture, history, and other disciplines.
I look forward to visiting the Biltmore Estate again. If your in Asheville NC be sure to spend some time exploring this great place!
